Sony Sports has got Guaratinguetá Esporte Clube and made it in company with the new denomination Guaratinguetá Futebol Ltda. This club figures now in A-1 series at Paulista championship (São Paulo state championship), the main championship at Brazilian’s 1^st semester calendar.

GUARÁ, by the tenderness way that is known, that has a privileged geographic location, is an hour and a half away from Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Minas Gerais’s south. The city is situated at Paraíba’s Valley, one of the greatest Brazil’s industrial centers.

The City Hall’s support along with sports secretary gives GUARÁ the possibility to participate in the championship with a good structure:

With a stadium’s capacity of 18,000 people and the construction of new dressing rooms, exercises room, dinning-hall, spare time room, accommodation rooms to 40 athletes, laundry and administration rooms. These construction buildings, that have already started, are expected to be concluded in August 2006 and will give conditions to participate on A-1 series and soon in national level.

Is set on project the construction of a Training Center that will lapidate new values and also the possibility to athletes exchange from other countries like China, Korea, Japan and United States.

The model company-club is the great advance in national scenario now that a great part of clubs has turned it selves into it as Manchester United, Milan and Bayern München. We can quote a success Brazilian club that is already a company and in a short time has achieved a respect place in Brazil: A.D. São Caetano.
